| We are very proud of our professional staff at Highway Tractors Spares, however we prefer to call ourselves ‘a team’ who work together to achieve the high standard of customer service we deliver to our customers. The staff are ex-diesel mechanics who fully understand the machinery and components so customers feel they can drop in or contact us by phone, fax or internet and someone is able to help fix their problem. We have 1,200 active Volvo customers, which we are proud to say includes some of the largest Volvo owners in the country. Our monthly turn over averages 1 million dollars, which includes selling used and new parts, hire of equipment and the sales of used equipment. |

Bill Capell - Sales Bill Capell has been in the earthmoving industry for over 30 years. He began in the parts department for Forcepower Komatsu and progressed to major accounts manager for equipment sales before spending 3 years at William Adams in International Sales and purchasing of used equipment. He then spent 7 years at Komatsu Australia as National General Manager for used equipment. Bill is looking forward to incorporating his worldwide contacts into Highway Tractor Spares. |

Peter Osborne - Sales
Peter Osborne has worked in the earthmoving industry for more than 25 years. He started his career with William Adams (The Caterpillar Dealer in Australia) as a mechanic and progressed through the ranks of the company until he became Major account manager in sales. |

Shirley Peters Shirley Peters has been with Equipment Direct for over 6 years and in the earthmoving industry for more than 20 years.

Steve Phelps - Spare Parts Stephen Phelps has worked in the Earthmoving Industry since 1971, he began at Robe River Iron Associates as a shift fitter then in 1979 moved onto Lieghton Contractors as a shift foreman. In 1983 Stephen worked with Malcolm Moore BTR as a service manager. Then in 1989 Stephen was self employed and was working as an earthmoving mechanic contractor. In 1995 Stephen worked with Highway Tractor Spares at the old yard on South Gippsland Highway as a parts manager then Stephen moved to Horsham in 1999 and worked with Ovest Machinery until 2005 in parts and machinery sales. Stephen came back to Highway Tractor Spares in 2005 and is doing a fantastic job as our parts manager, over this time Stephen has worked on Volvo, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Mitsubishi Grader, Terex, Averling Barford, Case, Hitachi and the list goes on, Stephens knowledge is second to none and our customers are very happy with the service he provides. |

David Jays - Workshop Manager Dave is a qualified diesel mechanic who has been involved in the earthmoving industry for 25 years, he is considered to be the best Volvo fitter in the land. Dave is a professional in workshop component rebuilds, he also manages the workshop activities from day to day. |

Dan McCormack Dan has completed his 4 year apprenticeship and has been employed with Highway Tractor Spares for 2 years. Dan is a dedicated and capable mechanic involved in field service work and breakdown repairs with a wealth of knowledge of Volvo machines. |

Terry Hogan Terry is one of our field serviceman. He has experience in many areas including road trucks, Kenworth trucks, Hyundai construction equipment and Volvo machinery. All this knowledge will assist Terry in his day to day jobs at Highway Tractor Spares.

Daniel de Beaux Daniel is a qualified mechanic and has experience in the automotive industry. He has also worked at Highway Tractor Spares in the machine wrecking department, he now assists Stephen Phelps in our parts department and with his mechanical knowledge Daniel is very capable of assisting our customers. |

Norm Batcheldor Norm has been working on earthmoving machinery for over 30 years, he is diverse in any earthmoving duties as well as dismantling, assembling and wrecking of machines. |
